Bellingham United Goes for Three-Peat

WISL Season Begins Nov. 11

When Bellingham United opens their 2017-18 Western Indoor Soccer League schedule on November 18, it will be in search of its third consecutive championship.

In the first WISL season in 2014-15, Bellingham United took a perfect 8-0 record into the championship game but lost to the Tacoma Stars (the Stars team is the same one that joined the Major Arena Soccer League midseason to replace the Seattle Impact). They have lost just three games in the two years since then and have outscored their opponents 127-53 in the regular season.

The 2017-18 WISL season begins on November 11 and features five teams playing eight games each, four home and four away. Bellingham United’s first opponent is Olympic Force, the team they’ve faced in the last two WISL championship games, and their first home game is at Bellingham Sportsplex (a USIndoor facility member) on December 2 against the Tacoma Stars Reserves.
