2022 Nashville Conference
USIndoor’s Annual Conference & Tradeshow is widely regarded as the premier educational and networking event for facility operators, startups, and providers in the indoor recreational sports industry. The Association travels to the Southeast for its return to in-person events, hosting the 22nd Annual Conference in Nashville on May 31-June 3 (Tuesday-Friday). There, USIndoor expects close to 300 guests, consisting of facility owners, managers, vendors, startups, consultants, and other industry leaders and professionals.
The Sheraton Music City Hotel is our host hotel for the event, located in the outskirts of the city. It’s a short ride from downtown’s numerous shops, dining options, and attractions, like the historic Fort Nashborough, the Musicians Hall of Fame Museum, and Ryman Auditorium, concert venue and former home of the Grand Ole Opry. For sports fans, Nissan Stadium (Tennessee Titans, NFL; Nashville SC, MLS) and First Horizon Park (Nashville Sounds, Minor League Baseball) are also nearby.

Event News
I definitely benefitted from chatting with other facility owners and learning about their businesses – what they do and how they do it. I can’t imagine starting a business and not being a member of USIndoor or attending the Conference.
I was in the startup sessions and really enjoyed and appreciated all the information. We are early into the process so everything was new and helpful. The Conference was suggested to us by a turf vendor…and it was great advice to attend.
It’s always good to see someone face-to-face versus just email and on the phone. I’ve heard this over and over: “I’ve been meaning to call you, but it’s good that you’re here so we can chat.”
The weekend gave us all a chance to bond in those positives and negatives and gave me that feeling of ‘not being alone.’ That in and of itself was well worth the price of admission.
It was a great learning experience, and I came back with a lot of take-aways and a better understanding of the industry.
The Bus Tour is always a must and highly educational. All in all, it was great to attend – I recommend highly going to it.
Give and take from asking questions, sharing information, and suggesting best practices and ideas fosters a spirit of teamwork that we appreciate and value.
Over the years the conferences have been a huge boon to SCOR’s business. Everything from having our people do the CAO program to sharing stories over dinners and beers have helped our growth but also in avoiding mistakes!
Some of the best feedback we’ve had was brutal honesty from the first time we went. There were some holes we had in the software we had to work out, and being able to get direct feedback from the facilities that could see it in person was great to hear.
Event Overview
The biannual Certified Arena Operator course kicks things off on Tuesday, May 31st, followed by the annual Facility Bus Tour on June 1st, taking guests to see how local sports facilities “do it”. You won’t want to miss the Opening Social event that evening for a chance to network, meet new people, and catch up with industry colleagues.

The Conference’s core program gets rolling on Thursday, June 2nd, with our annual State of the Industry Breakfast and Keynote Address, followed by independent learning tracks for existing facility operators and startups, alongside the Executive Symposium for facility owners and senior executives. The complete educational package combines speaker presentations, roundtables, panel discussions, and networking specially catered to each track.
USIndoor’s Tradeshow, featuring products and services from across the industry, takes place Thursday evening at the President’s Reception and at Friday’s luncheon. The Conference concludes on Friday, June 3rd, with a Post-Conference Social.
Generally, all meals, sessions and related events are included at one low admission price, with the exception the Bus Tour and Executive Symposium, which are extra. Discounts are available for groups and early registrations.
